The limited liability company, TKZ Polná, spol. s r.o., is a prominent Czech manufacturer of metal fixtures or fittings for buildings and furniture. Our broad assortment of products can certainly satisfy the full spectrum of clientele from wholesale to retail dealers. At present, the company has about 210 employees.

● Production Program:
Threaded suspension hinges for buildings and furniture, windows, doors, gates; bars, elbow joints; atypical furniture fixtures; decorative sleeves for doors, mechanical stoppers for windows and doors, assorted Exclusive door hinges, and 3-axis adjustable TRIO and EXPERT door hinges; assembly jigs, fastening elements, small machined parts; security boots for personal vehicles and trucks. As supplementary assortment, we deal with products of foreign companies, such as BASYS (hidden fittings) and SISO (fixtures, locks and stoppers for glass panels, cylindrical locks, etc.).

● Quality:
Our company’s philosophy is based on assuring maximum customer satisfaction through high quality products and good service. In 1999, we successfully implemented the ISO 9001 quality management system. In 2002, the company underwent certification according to European Standards ISO 9001:2000. Our products are certified as per EN 1935:2002. The company uses the SAP R/3 management and operation system.

● Development Program
Over the recent years, we invested extensively into reconstruction and modernization of our production halls, construction of a new sales and logistics center, and acquisition of new, modern NC machines: specifically, a Wenzel LH 54 gauging center, a Hatebur metallization center, several Brother machining centers, and CITIZEN and TORNOS CNC automats.

● Export:
TKZ Polná, spol. s r.o., exports its products to many countries worldwide. Our traditional export products are piano suspension hinges. Our foreign clientele for this article includes, e.g., Neuhäuser, Germany; Ramel – 2, Poland; Senuku, Lithuania; Jardinier Massard, France; SFS, Switzerland; and numerous other companies.

● Sponsoring
TKZ Polná, spol. s r.o., is a general sponsor of the Slavoj TKZ Polná Soccer Club, co-finances events organized by the municipality, such as the Swing Festival, and subsidizes various hobby activities of special-interest groups.

● Our Historical Background
1911 The company is founded by entrepreneur František Sláma, Ing., who transfers production of classical stamping products from his factory in Prague to Polná. The company’s production is gradually expanded with a newly erected factory built on the site of the former establishment.
1934 The factory is sold to a joint-stock company owned and managed by Karel Sázavský, Ing., registered as Továrna Kovového Zboží, akciová společnost = Metal Goods Factory, Inc., to pursue the same line of business.
1948 The factory is expropriated, i.e., “nationalized”, and incorporated into enterprise KOH-I-NOOR Praha. In the course of the subsequent years, the company was gradually merged with companies MARS Svratka and Branecké železárny.
1955 The company’s production program is changed to manufacture of metal construction and furniture fixtures.
1960 The company joins TOKOZ Žďár nad Sázavou, national enterprise.
1991 The company becomes a completely independent enterprise named TKZ Polná, state enterprise.
1994 As part of a privatization process, TKZ is transformed into a limited liability company named TKZ Polná, spol. s r.o.
